The Eglinton Arms
has a long-standing tradition in the south side of Glasgow as
a quality establishment and proprietors Gordon Bavaird &
Joe Keenan along with their staff offer you a warm welcome.
Gordon & Joe are natives of East Kilbride and fondly remember
the Eglinton Arms from it’s hey day in the 1970’s.
Then the hotel enjoyed a high reputation among locals and was
a magnet to people young & old throughout Lanarkshire &
Glasgow. They knew that the old hotel had a charm unlike many
others and were willing to work within the restrictions of a
listed building in a conservation village to visualise their
dream of restoring the hotel’s reputation.
